Good cotton for everyday sewing

The cotton poplin worked nicely for a dressmaking project and gave the finished piece a polished look. The fabric fed smoothly through the machine and kept its shape during construction. It softened after prewashing and lost a small amount of crispness. The pink color had good depth and looked attractive in both natural and indoor light. I was happy with the finished project despite the small learning curve.
