Statement fabric for the project

This damask fabric was a good choice for a statement garment. The motif made a strong statement, and the fabric sewed cleanly with a sharp needle. The cut edges frayed, so I overlocked each piece before assembly. The scale of the damask pattern worked well for the project and looked balanced when finished. I was happy with the finished project despite the small learning curve.
