I was impressed by how clear the pattern looks up close. It has enough body to show the design without feeling overly heavy. The finished result came out great.

I chose this velvet for a formal garment and was pleased with the overall result. The pile looked rich, and cutting all pieces in one direction gave a professional result. The scale of the star pattern worked well for the project and looked balanced when finished. I would happily use it again for a similar project.
