96% Polyester, 4% Spandex. Approximately 58 to 60 inches wide. Great for ballgowns, dresses, wedding gowns and other high-end garments. Decorations for table & chair covers and backdrops. Fabric has no stretch in the width and stretches 25% in the length (a 12-inch piece will stretch to approximately 16 inches). Colors may vary due to differences in screen settings.

Good body for a formal dress

This taffeta was a good choice for a structured dress. The fabric had the right amount of body and held the garment silhouette nicely. It needed careful pressing to avoid creating unwanted shine. The stretch made fitting easier and the fabric returned to shape after handling. The extra preparation was minor compared with the final result.
