It is made from 80% Polyester 20% Spandex, in order to achieve the even texture and shiny appearance of Deluxe heavy shiny polyester spandex, vertical running polyester yarns are passed over a set number of polyester horizontal weft yarns. This fabric measures 58/60 inches wide, this fabric is 0.15 millimeters thick, has a 95 GSM, and weighs approximately 8 ounces per linear yard. Furthermore, this thin and lightweight fabric also is very fluid and gracefully flows when it is hung.

Care Instructions:

Good stretch with the right needle

The stretch fabric worked nicely for a fitted garment and gave the finished piece a polished look. The stretch and recovery were good, and a ballpoint needle handled the seams well. The cut edges curled slightly, so extra clips helped during sewing. The stretch made fitting easier and the fabric returned to shape after handling. The extra preparation was minor compared with the final result.
