Lovely result after careful cutting

This satin was a good choice for a wedding garment. A fresh fine needle produced neat seams, and the fabric pressed well on low heat. The edges frayed while handling, so I finished them promptly. The satin had a consistent finish and felt appropriate for the intended project. The extra preparation was minor compared with the final result.
